Meet2Eat is a regional food-skills service for older adults with limited nutritional skills or confidence.
The service designed by Rodd, in conjunction with partners Vision Culture, empowers older adults to boost their own nutritional knowledge and skills in a new social setting.
The premise of the new social innovation is to bring people together through a meal setting, tease out their strengths and weaknesses and then provide the missing skills.
The key insight for Rodd was realising that good nutritional skills are a mix of Eating, Shopping and Cooking with confidence, we found that most users had confidence in one of these areas, therefore if we found a mixed bunch we could effectively provide self help.
Rodd and Vision Culture co-created the service with pilot users from across the UK, building and iterating a full service blueprint over the 12 month program.Share +
