Rodd has conceived a small range of simple house wares products that address the lack of consumer awareness of the size of a healthy portion of food.
Our stimulus was the rising percentage of obesity in the UK population along with the staggering amount of food waste. To help gather insight, Rodd undertook a (brief) portion-controlled diet to help establish a few home truths’ about the teams eating habits.
The ideas span food preparation, serving and storage and each present a simple, low-tech solution to everyday situations.
Rodd is looking to commercialise the ideas amongst its housewares client base.
