The ‘GO’ DAB radio, with its chunky good looks, is just one in a series of audio products we have designed for Goodmans as part of a wider brand strategy project.

Available in three clean, contemporary colour-ways. We designed this waterproof DAB radio with inbuilt charging for mobile devices, NFC for ‘tap to stream’ and a simple paired back interface.

As an integral part of the Goodmans ‘Brilliantly Simple’ brand strategy we wanted GO to be simple, fuss free and fashionable in its industrial design.

Differentiated but not showy, GO offers a variety of key user benefits both in terms of its spec and its look and feel. Such as it’s rubberised, but distinctively non-macho, go anywhere coverset. The canvas wrist loop builds on the ‘go anywhere’ vibe, it is as useful in a festival campsite as it is in the shower room. The oversized power switch has become a signature design element across the Goodmans product suite.

We feel that our work with Goodmans demonstrates that brand strategy can be product led, and moreover, design language can be flexible and yet still recognisable.
